We love the progressive philosophy, project-based learning curriculum, diversity and focus on social-emotional learning in addition to academics. However, sometimes the administration was terrible and we're controlled by people with money. Within 48 hours GACS had their digital learning environment up and working. In addition to the diversity, I also enjoy the diverse academic programs offered. The school only in it's second year of introducing sports already has a variety of sports to offer for spring and fall semesters including Volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and fencing! I have never had a teacher here who didn't constantly strive to support me in my interests and help me develop into a well-rounded adult. While this wedge often leads to references of north Fulton and south Fulton, there is only one Fulton County School System.The southern part of Fulton County is comprised of the cities of Chattahoochee Hills, the City of South Fulton, College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Palmetto, South Fulton and Union City. The best things to me about Bartow county schools are the techers and the school culture. They don’t just teach the students because it’s their job. There's a rule that you cannot use cellphones at all, even though some students didn't like it, I did, considering that you actually learn and not getting distracted at all. Given that I attend one of the performing arts schools in Fulton county, I truly believe the spread of diversity in my school is well known through our school dances and musical performances. However, though the school building has had upgrades in recent years, the conditions could still be improved. Each child was well prepared for college (2 at UGA, 1 at Georgia Cillege). Outstanding teachers flawlessly manage classrooms with differentiated learning.
